No, Raptor dinosaurs cannot go through doors in the game Ark.
So let’s take a closer look at the request
Raptor dinosaurs, in the context of the game Ark, cannot go through doors. While the game presents a vast and immersive world where players can tame and ride various dinosaurs, including Raptors, the ability to pass through doors is not one of their features. The game mechanics restrict the movement and interaction of dinosaurs with man-made structures like doors.
As famous naturalist and television presenter Sir David Attenborough once said, “Dinosaurs are fascinating creatures that roamed the Earth millions of years ago. Their behaviors and abilities varied greatly, but going through doors was certainly not one of them!”
To shed more light on this topic, here are a few interesting facts about Raptors in Ark:
-
Raptors, short for Velociraptors, are small to medium-sized dinosaurs known for their speed and agility. In Ark, they are one of the first dinosaurs that players are able to tame and ride.
-
While Raptors are formidable hunters in the game, capable of pouncing and dismounting players, they are unable to navigate through doors due to game mechanics.
-
Ark’s coding and design features limitations and restrictions for certain dinosaur behaviors, including passage through physical structures such as doors. This restriction is likely in place to maintain fair gameplay and prevent potential exploits.
-
Raptors are highly social creatures and are often encountered in packs in both the game and real-life. In Ark, players can find and tame multiple Raptors to form a powerful hunting group.
-
In the game, players can customize their Raptor’s appearance, including color schemes and patterns, making each tame unique and personal.
While Raptors in Ark may possess incredible speed, agility, and hunting abilities, navigating through doors is simply not within their capabilities. So, players can rest assured that their base’s doors will keep these prehistoric predators at bay.

Can a raptor fit through a doorway ark?Raptors do fit in door frames | Raptor Tips | Dododex.
Raptors can get through a doorway if there’s no door installed on it. But with a door they get stuck. Raptors can pass through two doorways on top of each other, but only if unmounted. When someone rides it their feet on either side of the raptor’s body makes it too wide. Another work around is putting another doorway over the first one (2nd door optional) to give space for your head. This also works to ride a raptor through a doorway.
